Lead Architect Enterprise (9-12) Years’ Experience, 6-8 Years Leading (Enterprise Standards Development, Rationalization of Microservices/Webservices, Enterprise Integration Strategies)

Role:

• Develop and maintain future state vision, reference architecture, architecture roadmaps, and transition roadmaps that meet the enterprise needs.
• Lead architectural discussions with internal customers and technical teams to understand business and technical requirements in order to maintain alignment of the enterprise architecture and domains (e.g. business, application, data, security, infrastructure.) with the business/technology strategy, goals, and objectives.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop blueprints and roadmap for our core systems, technology infrastructure appropriately aligned to the future state vision.
• Establish technical rationale and business case for architectures and implementations.
• Lead innovation and technology adoption efforts to drive results for new capabilities.
• Manage planning and implementation of new enterprise-wide technologies.
• Develop conceptual level solution architectures for complex, highly visible business initiatives.
• Collaborate with architects across all domains on the development of new Solution Architectures, bringing an enterprise perspective and leveraging reference architectures, roadmaps, standards, etc.
• Manage the definition of architectural patterns and standards. Work with development teams to ensure proper usage.
• Maintain an ongoing awareness of emerging technologies and industry trends to inform enterprise technology strategy and direction.
• Maintain an ongoing partnership with the business to apply in-depth knowledge of the business operations, strategies, priorities, and information requirements to establish the technical direction and an enterprise view.

Requirements:
• Expert in collaborating with internal stakeholders to develop integrated roadmaps aligned with product and architecture strategies.
• Expert in elaborating domain architecture strategies to develop comprehensive action plans for the adoption of enterprise strategies to meet strategic goals.
• Expert in developing future state vision, strategies, roadmaps, patterns, and standards.
• Expert in leading development of domain-level strategies and roadmaps (data, application, infrastructure, security,..)
• Experience in leading and establishing EA Governance.
• Experience collaborating with procurement, legal, and audit on vendor/technology selection.
• Experience with business and systems analysis and design methodologies and tools, and experience with large and complex systems.
• Experience with multi-system/platform program integration.

Required Skills:
• Proficient in the following Software & Tools: Orbus, MS Word, PowerPoint, Outlook Excel, Visio
• Excellent analytical, planning, and communication skills.
• Excellent written and spoken language skills, strong presentation skills
• Strong capability/process modeling skills, particularly in TOGAF.
• Strong ability to explain and demonstrate the value of enterprise architecture.
• Demonstrates awareness of new systems technologies and how they could be leveraged to benefit the company, customers, and providers, new business strategies, and corporate initiatives.
• Demonstrates strategic thinking, business acumen, and experience, to align project architectures with stated EA roadmaps and standards.
• Demonstrates strategic thinking and leadership abilities to interface across several channels, acting as a visionary, to assist, proactively in developing project direction.

Preferred Education and Experience:
• This position requires a BA/BS in computer science or a related field.
• Served as an enterprise architect in a health insurance payer organization.
• Active participant in enterprise architecture organizations.
• Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF) or other EA Framework certification preferred
