The Receptionist/Human Resource Assistant will greet, assist and provide information to clients, visitors and organization guests as well as perform administrative tasks and services to support effective and efficient operations of the organizations human resource department.  Specific Duties and Responsibilities include:

· Greet people entering the building, answering any questions, providing direction and alerting staff when someone is there to meet or visit them.

·  Manage building log of who is entering and exiting the building.

·  Answers, screens, and directs phone calls to staff; takes messages and schedules appointments.

·  Accept deliveries and mail, organize to be distributed use office mail system; manage outgoing and mail and packages.

·  Maintain reception area, keeping it clean and free of clutter.

·  Performs general and/or HR administrative and support tasks as needed.

·  Assist new applicants who come to the building for interviews.

·  Assist with customer and employee events as needed.

·  Assist with hiring process, including job postings and scheduling of interview; coordinate new hire onboarding and logistics, and answering         frequently asked questions from applicants.

·  Maintains accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation for Southfield office.

·  Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENT(S):

·  High school diploma or GED and/or Associates degree. 

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT(S):

·   At least 3 years of experience in customer service or office environment.

·   Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.

·   Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.

·   Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

·    Ability to work independently.
