Fleet Mechanic Supervisor
 
OFR, Inc., located in Kingsburg, California, is accepting applications for an experienced Fleet Mechanic Supervisor to oversee the operation of the auto shop and storage yard. OFR is a Farming Labor Contractor, with various entities, to the Agriculture Industry including land development, compliance, safety, manufacturing trellis supplies, and Agriculture transportation among many services.

 
Essential Duties include (but are not limited to):
  • Supervise staff to plan, organize, schedule and direct fleet logistics for company operations.
  • Collect and maintain records of vehicle identification, insurance, and warranty information.
  • Identify source of mechanical issues; repair or replace malfunctioning parts for all fleet vehicles
  • Perform diagnostics and preventative maintenance for appropriate vehicle operation.
  • Train Fleet Team on preventative maintenance and vehicle repair techniques.
  •  Ensure compliance to state Division of Motor Vehicles documentation and safety regulations.
 
​​​​The desired candidate will possess these qualifications:
  • Three to Five years’ experience managing fleet, performing routine maintenance of vehicles is required. Supervisory experience is preferred.
  • High School diploma or equivalent is required
  • National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence - Master Technician Certification is required.
  • Knowledge of all aspects of fleet management, vehicle maintenance and repair.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient with computer diagnostic equipment and software.
  • Ability to read service and repair manuals, perform repairs in a timely manner.
  • A valid Driver’s License and flexibility for same day in-state travel is required.
