Manufacturing Planner 1

SSE is a leading technology company serving St. Louis, MO for over 30 years. We develop aviation courseware training, virtual training environments, technical publications, and provide contract labor personnel to the aerospace industry for some of the most advanced military and commercial aircraft platforms.

We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Planner 1 to join our Contract Labor Team in Mesa Arizona.

This Manufacturing Planner performs validation/verification testing of systems and components. Documents procedures and established processes to ensure contractual and regulatory compliance (e.g., repairs, test results, applicable modifications and inspection results). Inspects components and verifies repairs for flight worthiness requirements. Oversees training. Works under general direction.General

Job Description:
Assists in development, implementation and maintenance of various manufacturing plans, Bill of Materials, work instructions and illustrations to define and document as-built configuration. Assists in the identification of tooling requirements and processing tooling orders based on manufacturing and engineering requirements. Assists in investigation and resolution of manufacturing related issues. Collects data to support producibility assessments for part or product designs. Assists in developing work statements and sequencing of limited scope with internal business partners. Assists in the review, maintenance and monitoring of internal documents. Works under close supervision.

PROJECT/SKILLS
• Describe the project/day-to-day activities they will be working on: Create fabrication planning, bills of material, and first article inspection plans. Development of installation plans may follow once the harnesses are ready to be installed in the aircraft. Initially working on fabrication and installation for work construction offering.

*Schedule: operates on 4/10 schedule, 5AM-3:30PM*
