General Description
The compile, coordinate and respond to audit requests and artifacts. To organize and archive the documentation provided in response to each audit request by the various oversight groups and agencies. Work with assorted ISD and business units task forces projects identifying, defining, and categorizing essential business processes and associated ISD assets within correct recovery prioritizations. To support the respective ISD group's functions, projects and activities. Provide feedback and suggestions to improve established policies, procedures, and/or methodologies. Provide subject matter expertise for assessing, planning, and testing Continuity and Recovery options for their functional organization and specific technology platform. Function as a contact person between the different branches for a specific process

Specific Duties
• Coordinator and archivist of all IT Service Continuity (ITSCM) audit, regulatory and consultative inquires, documentation requests, and artifact generation
• Manage the post-recovery testing documentation processes to maintain relevant, standard, and consistent submissions to requesting parties
• Quickly gain an understanding of key business drivers for the organization
• Understand Disaster Recovery Plan frameworks based on accepted industry standards
• Collaborate with Business Continuity (BC) to develop a comprehensive recovery solution for Navy Federal
• Oversee and advise of the creation of Recovery Documents of systems based on technical input
• Audit and review plans and documents for accuracy and recoverability
• Create and conduct simulation/tabletop exercises based on plan information
• Participate in the planning and oversight of disaster recovery exercises to verify recovery capabilities of established plans
• Understand the implications and dependencies of plan activation in both testing and actual recovery scenarios
• Identify and drive the remediation of technical gaps impeding recovery
• Document, track, and report on test incident information to improve recovery capabilities in future incidents
• Large scale testing/exercise support (Infrastructure Recovery Tests)

Qualifications
• Three Plus years of Disaster Recovery / Business Continuity experience
• Experience working with and responding to the audit, consulting, and regulatory agencies and organizations requests and inquiries
• Ability to consistently work on complex assignments requiring independent action and initiative
• Effective strategic planning and decision making abilities
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, to deal effectively with all levels of the organization
• Ability to interpret data and develop innovative solutions to execute those solutions
• Strong analytical skills and a high degree of accuracy
• Experience utilizing a DR/BC planning tool, Fusion Risk Management experience a Plus
