Our local business partner here in Fresno, California, is seeking an experienced Human Resources Generalist. If you have a strong background performing general human resources functions, positioned to join a dynamic team, please apply!

Essential duties include, but are not limited to:
  • As directed by the Senior HR Manager, ensures compliance to federal, state, and local HR laws.
  • Full cycle recruitment duties including strategy plans, talent engagement, and sourcing.
  • General HR tasks including onboarding, retention strategies, performance management, employee relations, health and safety, compensation, and staff development.
  • Coordinate Worker’s Compensation, paid time off benefits, and company, state, federal leaves.
  • Employ systematic processes to ensure compliance with federal, state, local employment laws.
  • Advise supervisors and employees on policies and procedures and other HR duties as assigned.
 The ideal candidate must possess the following qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • Five to seven (5-7) years experience in Human Resources Management or Generalist preferred.
  • SPHR, PHR, PHR-CA, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP preferred.
  • Some knowledge of OSHA and CalOSHA, Safety Orders, IIPP/HIIP guidelines. 
  • Demonstrated knowledge of human resources laws, policies, and procedures.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, various Payroll and HRIS software systems.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality; prioritize tasks under the pressure of competing deadlines.
  • Valid California Driver’s License with proof of Automobile Insurance.
