Job Overview
Land Intelligence is seeking a project manager to join our growing engineering team. The hire will be integral in helping us build and maintain our LandSUITETM platform and related products. The ideal candidate is a hands-on PM with experience in developing scalable software. We are looking for someone detail oriented with great communication skills. Experience working with JIRA is required, and qualified candidates will have experience with IT-specific project management workflows and release management.Responsibilities
- Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan, including defining the scope, allocating resources, setting deadlines, managing budget, establishing communication strategies, and reporting key performance indicators
- Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress
- Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout the entire project execution
- Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement
- Gather requirements through interviews of project stakeholders
- Write stories based on requirements gathered
Qualifications
- We are looking for 3-5 years experience in a Software Project Manager role, with a degree in software development management, information technology, software engineering, computer science, or a related field
- Proven ability to solve problems creatively
- Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices
- Experience seeing projects through the full life cycle
- Excellent analytical skills
- Strong leadership, decision making, and organization skills
- Experience with JIRA
- Experience with Agile development
