NG Renewables is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to undertake financial research, project-based financial modeling, budgeting and provide information on investment ideas. This person will be responsible for project-based financial modeling and preparing documentation, reporting, and analysis to aid management from deal screening through investment recommendation. In addition, the Senior Analyst will work with other financial professionals handling detailed evaluation of renewable energy project investment opportunities and serving on deal teams for due diligence on mergers and acquisitions.

Duties

  • Review, compile, and model renewable energy project financial information
  • Examine and assess economic and market trends, earnings prospects, financial statements and various other indicators and factors to determine suitable investment strategies
  • Liaise with executive management and network with industry professionals
  • Monitor closely financial press and keep a track of market trends, opportunities, risks and new investment products
  • Provide support in the project financing process
  • Compile advisory reports and make informed recommendations on new investment opportunities that could enhance or diversify portfolios
  • Develop complex financial models and analyze legal documents

Qualifications

  • Excellent quantitative and qualitative analytical skills
  • BS degree in Finance, Accounting or related field
  • 5-7 years of experience working in financial modeling, experience in investment analyst experience a major plus
  • Must have experience in energy finance
  • Strong analytical skills
