Job summary:

The Jira Analyst/ Junior Administrator’s primary role will be to assist the Senior Jira Administrator with day-to-day administration, configuration, and training of the Atlassian suite of products used by RxSense - Jira Software, Jira Service Management, Confluence, & Bitbucket. The Jira Administrator will also be responsible for creating and maintaining reports and metrics within Jira and other reporting software such as Jira plugins, Excel, and Tableau.

·        Provide administration and configuration support for Atlassian products (Jira Software, Jira Service Management, Confluence, & Bitbucket) and related integrations (Pivot Reports, Structure, Advanced Roadmaps, Salesforce, Tableau, etc.)

·        Create custom projects in Jira with complex workflows and configuration schemes to meet business needs.

·        Understand and be a champion for the usage of Jira as a business and process management tool

·        Create and maintain key metrics and reports on Jira activity across the organization

·        Research and utilize industry-standard methods and techniques.

·        Analyze, research, manage and implement Atlassian tools, plugins, and applications

·        Manage and track work in Jira using Agile and Kanban methodologies

·        Assist with the creation of end-user training (formal and informal) and training materials on Jira processes and functionality.

·        Act as SME during end-user training (formal and informal)

Education &/ or Skills:

·        Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Business, or equivalent degree/experience

·        At least 1 year of experience as a Jira Administrator or 2+ years of experience as a Jira project administrator/power user

·        Strong understanding of Atlassian products and plugins, including JQL, automation, roadmaps, etc.

·        Strong understanding of Jira plugins Pivot Reports, Advanced Roadmaps, and Structure, as well as Excel, PowerPoint, and other report creation tools.

·        Superb verbal and written communication skills with customers (internal and external) at various levels of an organization (from development teams to C-level executives).

·        Creative and consistent learner who adapts to change easily and readily suggests improvements.
