This HR Generalist will be focused on recruiting and will research, develop, and implement effective strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified and capable talent for Corsica Technologies. Responsibilities

  • Develops, facilitates, and implements all phases of the recruitment process.
  • Collaborates with department managers to identify and draft detailed and accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria.
  • Identifies and implements efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and the needs of the organization.
  • Assists with job posting and advertisement processes.
  • Screens applications and selects qualified candidates.
  • Checks candidates references and credentials, verifying experience and backgrounds.
  • Collects and analyzes data to maintain current understanding of fair and competitive market salaries, candidate availability, and demand for candidates in particular fields.
  • Schedules interviews; oversees preparation of interview questions and other hiring and selection materials.
  • Assists with the interview process, attending and conducting interviews with managers, directors, and other stakeholders.
  • Collaborates with the hiring manager and/or other human resource staff during the offer process, identifying and recommending salary ranges, incentives, start dates, and other pertinent details.
  • Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies.
  • Drafts recruitment advertisements; posts and/or places ads in the most effective digital and/or print media for open positions, if necessary.
  • Assist with onboarding process with new hires.
  • Assist in creating and maintaining innovative ways to onboard and orient new employees and help them understand company mission, vision, and key characteristics.
  • Selects one or more placement agencies to assist with recruitment process, if necessary.
  • Attends and participates in college job fairs and recruiting sessions.
  • Arranges meeting locations, travel, and/or accommodations for applicants and company managers when necessary.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Understanding of technology, technical roles and technical skills aligning with current industry ITSM and cybersecurity standards.
  • Thorough understanding of recruiting methods and best practices, as well as applicable policies and federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Proficient with Microsoft 365 Suite.
  • Ability to create and implement sourcing strategies for recruitment for a variety of roles.
  • Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment.

  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proactively communicates process improvements, risks, and challenges to appropriate stakeholders.

Teamwork

  • Collaborates and supports each hiring manager and/or other human resource staff during all phases of recruitment process.

Information Systems

  • Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn applicant-tracking software or other recruitment systems.
  • Proficient with Microsoft 365 Suite or related software.
  • Prefer experience with ConnectWise or other ticketing software.

Education, Experience, and Certifications

Preferred

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources or related field, or equivalent work experience, required.
  • At least 2 - 3 years managing multiple phases of the recruitment and hiring process highly preferred.
  • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP preferred.
  • SHRMs Talent Acquisition Specialty Credential a plus.
