What You’ll Do

You will be responsible for the day to day activities related to securing new business to include targeted outreach, prospecting, sourcing through business intelligence resources, participation in seminars and conferences.  You will work with scientific and executive leadership at prospective partners to understand key needs and data analysis questions and outline the key components and milestones of a strategic partnership.  You will work alongside the client and M2GEN staff in order to define and deliver a data product/service and potential bioinformatics services that add demonstrable value to the client’s data analytics, discovery, pre-clinical and clinical programs. 

You will be responsible for representing client needs to M2GEN, working closely with IT, medical informatics, bioinformatics, data management and marketing departments, while also demonstrating M2GEN’s data and analytic capabilities to biopharma partners.

You will have accountability for navigating, accelerating and executing the full sales cycle, expanding the client roster and acting as a conduit between pharma and internal departments at M2GEN.   The role requires a high level of solution knowledge and detailed, data-driven presenting regarding M2GEN’s products and services either virtually or in person. 

 

What You’ll Need

  • Bachelor’s degree in Biological sciences, engineering, biostatistics, health economics or similar
  • 5+ years of experience in business-to-business sales roles within pharmaceutical, CRO, data science or biotech environment
  • Demonstrated successful selling capabilities in complex, large biopharma contracts ideally within the oncology and/or data analytics space
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to understand and adapt to changing customer needs in highly competitive conditions
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key technical personnel with biopharma partners
  • Knowledge of oncology drug development processes, from basic research to post-marketing surveillance
  • Expressed attention to detail by mentioning ‘Tampa Bay’ in your initial correspondence to Liza
  • Expertise, ability and desire to stay current on: Real World Evidence, Real World Data, clinical oncology, multi-omics data, Health Economics and Outcomes Research
  • Ability to own multiple client relationships simultaneously by embedding oneself into client’s way of thinking and championing client’s needs within M2GEN
  • Ability to navigate and communicate across organizations with different cultures
  • Persistent and resilient with a tenacious appetite for success
  • Flexible, start-up mindset, and enjoy a fast-paced, constantly changing, deadline-driven environment
  • Comfortable working independently as well as part of a matrixed team
  • Passion for science and learning.

It Would Be Great If You Had

  • Master’s Degree P.D. in Business/Marketing, Biological sciences, engineering, biostatistics, health economics or similar
  • 8+ years of experience in business-to-business sales roles within pharmaceutical, CRO, medical device, data science or biotech environment
