Description

The Grant Coordinator is responsible for researching and compiling data to assure grant compliance.  

Standard hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. 

  • Analyzes, tracks, and reports on programmatic activity.
  • Maintain grant files and documentation for internal and audit purposes.
  • Review’s funding guidance, applications, and contracts to determine compliance with stated requirements and standards.
  • Coordinates with fiscal and program staff to develop budget justifications and budget revisions for awarded grants.
  • Facilitates the grant application process, monitors budget, assists with performance reporting, and closing grants upon completion.
  • Assist with developing, writing narratives, and submitting grant applications.
  • Develops and maintains relationships with funders.
  • Responsible for maintaining required records and reports for each grant.
  • Prepare reports, memos, letters, and other documents, using word processing, spreadsheet, database, and/or presentation software.
  • Oversees and determines compliance with grant reporting requirements and deliverables.
  • Seeks out community engagement opportunities to learn about community needs.
  • Maintains reports on progress status of proposals and grants: received, requested, denied, and pending.
  • Keeps management informed regarding regulatory agency requirements.
  • Maintains all aspects related to online grant submission and reporting portals with appropriate logins and passwords.

Required:

Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university.
Minimum of two (2) years grant writing and project coordination experience.
