About the Role

We're a small, dynamic engineering team that's growing quickly, and this exciting new opportunity comes at a pivotal moment of growth for RxAgile. We are seeking a savvy, user-focused engineer who has delivered stellar results at a successful tech company or start-up. You will be part of a small, cross-functional, largely autonomous product engineering team, collaborating with other developers, designers, and the product manager to extend our cloud-based web platform. We are looking for a Senior Scrum master who will play a unique role in helping the team become more effective in delivering business value. Through coaching, facilitation, teaching, and mentoring, S/he will foster a collaborative environment of empowerment and self-organization. An ideal candidate deeply understands and embraces the values, principles, and practices of agility. S/he masterfully coaches the team and the stakeholders in the application of scrum to increase organizational and team health.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the Scrum team in using Agile methodology and scrum practices

  • Helping the product owner and development team to achieve customer satisfaction

  • Lead the scrum and development teams in self-organization

  • Remove impediments and coach the scrum team on removing impediments

  • Help the scrum and development teams to identify and fill in blanks in the Agile framework

  • Resolve conflicts and issues that occur

  • Help the scrum team achieve higher levels of scrum maturity

  • Support the product owner and provide education where needed

Qualifications

  • Prior experience on a scrum team
  • Ability to analyze and think quickly and to resolve conflict

  • Knowledgeable in techniques to fill in gaps in the scrum

  • Ability to determine what is scrum and what is not

  • Experience with successful Agile techniques

  • Ability to work with and lead a team

  • Strong communication, interpersonal and mentoring skills

  • Ability to adapt to a changing environment
