Position Summary:
The Senior Project Manager, working with new and existing customers, will manage assigned projects and work directly with Functional and Technical consultants, Client Partners, Product Development and Sales to deliver the Solumina solution on time, on budget, within scope in order to realize customer value. The Senior Project Manager will act as the main point of contact for customers during the life of the project and will manage expectations and ensure proper communication between all stakeholders.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for the overall success of assigned projects from initiation to closure, including performance to schedule, budget, scope and deliverable quality
  • Manage project resources and can support multiple projects concurrently
  • Serves as focal point of communication for both internal and external customers and reports on project progress and health on a weekly basis
  • Resolves all project related issues that impact budget, schedule, scope changes, software functionality and technology
  • Ensure issues and risks are closely monitored and under control on the RAID log, with adequate resolution, mitigation and/or contingency plans
  • Plans, forecasts, and negotiates tradeoffs between technical solutions, budget, schedule, and performance parameters of assigned projects following iBASEt deployment methodology
  • Confirm and monitor defined Key Performance Indicators and work with the customer to identify additional KPI’s that support the business needs
  • Confirm supporting project documentation is in order and submitted on time per the project plan
  • Provides on-site presence at customer facilities for assigned projects to facilitate efficient and accurate communication. 
  • Ensure the project team adheres to iBASEt policies, procedures, methodologies and quality standards
  • Provide guidance, feedback, coaching, and developmental experiences to project team members
  • Maintain project compliance to iBASEt project deployment methodology (SIM) and the iBASEt Project Management Procedures
  • Support and if required, assist with the preparation of customer proposals, statements of work (SOW) and quotes for services as needed.
  • Build collaborative relationship that increases customer's perception of the value iBASEt brings to their business and expands future business opportunities
  • Promote iBASEt image to customers through impeccable communication, proactive thinking, positive, constructive feedback realistic interpretation, presentation (reporting), and discussion of problems and issues
  • Assess project performance and communicates lessons learned to increase institutional knowledge
  • Contribute to the ongoing development of project management, implementation, solution templates and best practices


Pre-Requisites:
  • Minimum BS in Computer Science, Information System, Industrial / Systems engineering or related fields
  • Must have minimum 5 years demonstrated Project Manager leadership experience in Manufacturing application implementation (ERP, MES, SAP, Oracle or PLM)
  • Understanding of the software development life cycle, including business requirements definition, review of functional specifications, development of test plans, testing, user training, and deployment
  • Familiar with Jira (Issue Tracking System), Confluence (Wiki), and CMMI
  • Highly experienced computer skills, and a working knowledge of the Windows environment including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project, SharePoint, and Outlook
  • Familiar with Manufacturing Processes, Supplier Quality, Maintenance and Repair, Manufacturing Intelligence
  • Able to work with and analyze large amounts of data to generate management reports for project performance
  • Ability to perform in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Must be politically and diplomatically astute.
  • Must be able to quickly and effectively convey issues, concerns, and/or status as requested by management and customers
  • Must have strong communication and an excellent customer relations background. Must be able to work as directed and independently.

  • Regularly required to stand or sit, reach, bend and move about
  • May require some light physical effort
  • Must be flexible to travel to customer sites within the United States and overseas when needed
  • Must be able to travel up to 50% of time
