Job Summary: 

The Business Systems Analyst engages and aligns our customers with iBASEt Solumina software and industry best practices.  Conducts workshops to demonstrate Solumina software functionality and facilitates business process mapping to standard User Stories. Works with the customer Product Owner to create User Stories and Acceptance Criteria for new functionality and develops and executes functional testing of the software. Uses troubleshooting and problem-solving skills to address customer challenges and opportunities. Documents customer enhancement requests, system bugs, and internal service tickets. 

Essential Functions: 

  • Facilitate customer alignment to Solumina software functionalities and industry best practices 

  • Lead Business Blueprinting and User Story Workshop including the As Is and To Be processes using iBASEt’s Agile software implementation methodology 

  • Align standard functionality User Stories to the Customer’s To Be process 

  • Identify and create new User Stories and Acceptance Criteria to support unique customer requirements 

  • Assist customers with iBASEt software deployment and system set-up 

  • Develop and execute detailed test cases to validate the deployed solution 

  • Support customer User Acceptance Testing  

  • Create complete customer project documentation 

  • Contribute to the validation of upcoming Product software releases 

  • Drive Product innovation based on project lessons learned 

  • Contribute to the company’s continuous improvement initiatives 

Requirements:

  • Self-starter with proficient time management skills and the ability to work remotely or at customer sites   

  • Working knowledge of software development lifecycle, database concepts, and integration design 

  • Understanding of the Agile Framework Scrum and Kanban  

  • Knowledge of process mapping, modeling, and visualization tools & techniques 

  • Travel 30-40% of work time 

Required Education/Experience: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering, business information systems, computing and information technologies, industrial/systems engineering 

  • 2 - 5 years industry experience
