Job Title: Initial Test Program I&C Radiation Monitoring System Test Engineer

Job Location (site):  Waynesboro, GA

 Work will occur in the office, the field, on the construction site and will be exposed to the weather when in the field. Shift work including nights and weekends, is required for this position.

 Qualifications:

  • Experience in preparing, reviewing, field implementation, and closure of Nuclear power plant initial test program component and preoperational test procedures and test packages. 
  • Individuals must be able to be qualified as test engineers per NQA-1-1994.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
General Atomics Radiation Monitoring System experience is required for this position.

  • In addition, individuals are desired with backgrounds in design, testing and troubleshooting electrical and digital I&C systems and components.
  • Understanding of the DCIS design lifecycle is preferred. Experience working with Ovation Control Systems is preferred.
  • Experience working with PLCs (GE, Siemens, Allen Bradley, and Horner), ABB AC160, Modbus, and Profibus is desired.
  • Individuals must have experience using Microsoft Office products (particularly Word, Excel, & PowerPoint).
  1. Does this assignment have any physical requirements: Some bending, lifting, climbing, prolonged walking, crawling, will be required. Shift and weekend work will be required.
  2. Does this position require unescorted access to the protected area of a nuclear plant? Yes

Estimated Start Date:  Week of June 14, 2021 (or sooner if possible)

 Estimated Duration of Work Assignment : 6-12 months (possible extension)
