Looking for a Financial Analyst for a long term consulting assignment in NYC. You will be assisting the team on data analysis and report automation for a largest bank in the world.

Essential Functions:

• Working with stakeholders to understand, at times, complex business needs, data requirements and then translate requirements into effective reporting, visualization and actionable insights.
• Conduct data analysis for cash flow forecasting assumptions, maintain methodology and procedure.
• Maintain KPI methodology and calculation model to support performance analysis.
• Support the streamlining and automation of ad-hoc and standardized reporting functions.
• Interact with database developers and users across the organization to ensure timely delivery of relevant and user-friendly reporting.
• Demonstrate strong commercial sense in framing business problems and generating relevant reporting.
• Provide suggestions to enhance current reporting capability to meet future business needs.

Competencies:

• High degree of proficiency in Microsoft Excel required
• VBA and SQL is required
• Able to quickly learn necessary technical tools
• Action oriented
• Strong planning, priority setting, and project management skills
• Detail oriented with strong quantitative skills.
• SAS experience preferred.

Required Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree required.

1-5 years’ experience in an analytical capacity.

Language/Communication Skills:

Bilingual preferred, Chinese and English
