This growing, dynamic high-tech company headquartered in sunny Central Florida, is seeking a Corporate Training and Development Manager to join our Human Resources team and grow with us. The new Summit Broadband is poised for an incredible future fueled by team members dedicated to being the best.

Job Title:  Manager, Corporate Training and Development

Status:  Full-Time/Exempt                                                                                                      

Reports to: VP, Legal & HR

Job Description:

  • Lead company training department and initiatives
  • Conducts annual training and development needs assessment
  • Develops companywide training and development programs and objectives
  • Develops department specific training and development programs and objectives
  • Obtains and/or develops effective training materials using a variety of media
  • Utilizes Company’s Learning Management System
  • Tracks training completion
  • Trains and coaches managers, supervisors and others involved in employee development efforts
  • Trains employees and new hires on Corporate programs, systems, processes, and policies
  • Conducts follow-up studies of all completed training to evaluate and measure results
  • Modifies training programs as needed
  • Exemplifies Company culture and philosophies of the organization
  • Works effectively as a team member with other team members and department staff
  • Manage training team
  • Manage training department budget
  • Create and report on training metrics; summarize results to executives
  • Additional duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications:

  • Strong leadership skills with the proven ability to inspire teams.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Adept with a variety of multimedia training platforms and methods.
  • Ability to evaluate and research training options and alternatives.
  • Ability to design and implement effective training and development. 
  • Excellent written and oral communication ability required.
  • Proven ability to work under pressure and solve problems.
  • Must be able to pass criminal background and drug test
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

 

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field.
  • Five years of experience designing and implementing employee development programs.
  • Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP) credential preferred.
  • SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) credential preferred.
