JOB SUMMARY

The Clinical Research Intern performs a variety of department-specific responsibilities and tasks in a training capacity and on a temporary basis.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Key Responsibilities

• Performs work assignments linked to department/project goals
• Accurate and timely entry of data into Elligo platforms
• Collaboration with team members to assure complete of daily and corporate functions related to assigned study
• Organizes and prioritizes work assignments on a daily basis, raising questions and issues in a timely manner
• Performs functions efficiently within scope of authority as defined by the supervisor
• Participates and collaborates with others on office projects as requested 
• Duties as assigned
• Timely filing of expense records related to travel 
• Ability to travel to complete job responsibilities
• Ability to work / travel weekends as required for study
• Duties as assigned by study team lead and/or Elligo leadership

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

This position requires over 75% travel to fulfill the job responsibilities.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS 

Required:

• High School diploma with some college coursework completed in a relevant area
• Willingness to get FastTrack certification (tuition paid for by the company)

Essential Skills:

• MS Office experience (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Strong attention to detail 
• Highly detail oriented 
• Organized and accurate in work

• Established interpersonal and communication skills 
• Aptitude to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community
• Experience with working within a busy and fast-paced office environment

Preferred:

• Certified Public Accountant
• Experience with NetSuite and QuickBooks Online
• Experience with system implementations
• Experience with Certify

WORKING CONDITIONS

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and photocopiers.

WORKING SCHEDULE

The Clinical Research Operations Intern has a varied schedule.  Flexibility in hours is allowed, however, the employee must be available complete the job assignments as assigned. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
