Team Lead: Graphic & Web Designer

Mid to Senior level

Full time, 8 hour shift, Mon - Fri 9am - 5:30pm

Are you a highly motivated collaborator with the ability to execute multiple high priority projects under tight deadlines with minimal supervision that is passionate about Graphic Design? If so, we are hiring an experienced Graphic and Web Designer to join our company as Team Lead: Graphic Designer for E-Commerce. In this role you will manage a team of two graphic designers to facilitate day-to-day design needs for the company, while working on strategic long-term projects to grow our brands and online persona. You may also be asked to help with our other design needs occasionally outside of E-Commerce.

Job Description:

The Graphic Designer Team Lead assumes responsibility for the creative output for our online content representing our three brands, Artnaturals, Paws & Pals, and Oxgord Home/Automotive. They will maintain and improve design standards, while inspiring a team of graphic designers dedicated to E-Commerce growth and development. In addition, he/she will be required to:

·         Work collaboratively within a creative team delivering content for E-Commerce, Sales, and Marketing activities

·         Support each brands vision as set by the Creative Director by producing high-quality content and inspiring the team with new design concepts and innovation

·         Support E-Commerce channel GD needs including Amazon, Target, Walmart, etc.

·         Mentor and support the team of Graphic Designers to ensure their skills remain up to date to ensure they are meeting department goals

·         Quality control of all GD team creative outputs in line with brand standards -  including proofing and reviewing deliverables and project processes

·         Provide leadership, motivation and mentoring to the Graphic Design team with a view to aligning them with departmental goals and ensuring they have a robust performance management structure in place

·         Work independently with minimal supervision while handling multiple high-priority projects deadlines

Qualifications:

5+ Years of hands on design experience

2+ years as a team lead or manager within a Graphic Design department

Bachelor's Degree in a Design related field

Experienced with Amazon product listings including A+ Content, Infographics, and Advertising materials

Expert abilities with Adobe Creative Suite

Understanding of UX/UI and Customer impact

Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills

Experience creating assets within Sales and Marketing decks for retailers

Preferred Qualifications Considered:

Experience with product listings/rich-media on multiple marketplaces (Amazon, Target, Walmart, etc.)

Understanding of SEO and advertising

Experience designing for Consumer Package Goods brands/companies

Independent judgment
