Description
Our direct client in Healthcare is seeking a Lead Pega Developer:

Job Requirements:
• Design, develop and support applications built on Pega Platforms in an agile environment.
• Ability to upgrade current instance(s) of PEGA to the approved versions.
• Ability to work with the DevOps Center of Excellence to build pipelines using Jenkins.
• Ability to Integrate PEGA guardrails with Jenkins Pipelines.
• Work with the project management team to develop the overall scope and work plan for implementing requirements.
• Provide technical expertise in identifying, evaluating, and developing effective and efficient solutions that meet business requirements.
• Make recommendations and advise on organization-wide system improvements, optimization or maintenance efforts in software, software development methodologies, lifecycle management, modeling, and simulation.
• Collaborate with analysts in documenting and capturing software requirements in the form of epics, features, user stories, process models, and use cases in an agile development environment.
• Work with customers at all levels of technical ability by assisting them in the customization and development of grant management systems.
• Review existing documentation to understand system functionality and use that information to implement functionality in the modernized grant case management system.
• Provide guidance and training for the development, maintenance, and updating of Web pages to junior members of the team.

Required Qualifications:
• Proven experience as the LSA in all phases of software development including design, configuration, testing, debugging, implementation, release, and support of large-scale, Pega platform applications
• Current with Pega Application concepts and design patterns when it comes to reuse
• Experience with modern software architecture design patterns and excellent OO skills
• Experience with SOA/Microservice implementations
• Hands-on experience in implementing Pega integrations services using REST, SOAP, etc.
• Experience with DevOp & CICD concepts using Pega and/or 3rd party tooling
• Knowledgeable in areas of Pega like Robotics, Decisoning, and CRM
• Experience using Pega Cloud and/or Private cloud offerings
• Experience in a consulting role is required and must be comfortable taking the lead in solutioning alongside our clients and nearshore teams.
• Strong leadership, mentoring, coaching, and motivational skills
• Strong understanding of Pega Platform with 5+ years of experience developing Pega solutions
• AES and or PDC experience a plus
• Pega Certified Senior System Architect (CSSA) in V7.x and higher or Pega Certified Senior System Architect (CSSA) below version 7 and have your Pega Platform Ready badge required, Certified Lead System Architect (CLSA) preferred
• Version 8 certifications are a preferred
• 12+ years of developer experience (5+ years with PEGA technologies)
• 8+ years working with teams in an Agile development environment
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field

DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
This is a Pega LSA ( Lead System Architect ) position and requires someone who is a Pega Certified Lead System Architect (PCLSA) or at least a Pega Certified Senior System Architect (PCSSA).
