Solutions Specialist- Greenville, SC 8am-5pm

 

Purpose

The purpose of the Solution Specialist is to demonstrate and reflect operational excellence by supporting multiple client-facing teams throughout the organization. Internal teams are primarily the clients in this role. The functions of this role are high visibility within the organization, and each function is critical for the success of our service delivery teams. The Solution Specialist is part of a team which is the hub for quoting, ordering, and renewals.

Responsibilities

The responsibilities for this position include:

  • Generate quotes and manage pricing.
  • Recommend alternate products based on cost, availability, or specifications.
  • Receive requests for service and products from both internal and external sources; provide timely responses.
  • Communicate with clients and partners about quotes.
  • Ensure clients understand the criticality of renewal quotes and impact on their business.
  • Send licenses efficiently to the appropriate service delivery team.
  • Manage and generate product subscription renewal quotes.
  • Ensure product order accuracy and communicate timeline to service delivery teams.
  • Achieve and maintain a positive rapport with clients and work to give them the best possible service.
  • Maintain high level product knowledge of our service offerings.
  • Work through a daily list of tickets in a prioritized manner.
  • Document internal processes and procedures related to duties and responsibilities.
  • Review IT publications and online materials to remain up-to-date with current and future technologies emerging in the industry.
  • Enter time into PSA as it occurs.
  • Understand processes by completing assigned training materials.

  • Skill in preparing written communications and materials.
  • Able to work under pressure.
  • Interpersonal skills, such as telephony skills, communication skills, active listening, and customer-care.
  • Ability to multi-task and adapt to changes quickly.
  • Typing skills to ensure quick and accurate data entry.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work in a fast-moving environment.

Education, Experience, and Certifications

Required

  • 6 months of technical experience.

Preferred

  • Experience with PSA or CRM platform.
  • Quoting software experience.
  • Experience with any of the following: IT services and products, managed IT services, or IT consulting.
  • Prior experience with a Managed Service Provider.

Supervisory Responsibility

This position does not directly manage any employees.
