Job Title:  Director, Residential Marketing

Status:  Full-Time/Exempt

Reports to: Executive Vice President  

Location: Orlando, FL or Southwest Florida (Naples/Fort Myers area)

Position Summary:

What an incredible time it is at Summit! This rare opportunity calls for a seasoned, creative, and tactical marketing leader. The Director of Residential Marketing will be a critical part of our Bulk and Retail Fiber-to-the-Home vertical throughout the State of Florida. By using proven strategies and tactical marketing, along with new approaches to customer acquisition, the Director will help grow our brand presence, generate leads for the sales teams, and drive revenue in new and existing residential communities. The incumbent will manage all aspects of residential marketing operations, campaign creation/management and reporting, event planning, and public relations activities.

Job Description:

  • Manages the development and implementation of Marketing Communications and related acquisition campaigns that achieve subscriber and revenue goals.
  • Accountable for execution of marketing strategies, which includes creative strategy formulation, development and production of digital, traditional direct response, and grass roots tactics.
  • Plans and organizes events and memberships.
  • Utilizes sales tools to provided reports and data analytics to sales leaders and the sales team.
  • Plans and assists in the implementation of market expansion.
  • Utilizes Go to Market planning.
  • Collaborates with sales leaders to define objectives, standardize business reporting, and create dashboards for leadership team.
  • Provides weekly reports to sales leadership including month to date sales production against forecast, churn, pending installs, notice of non-renewals, renewals, and other reports as requested.
  • Facilitates meeting presentations and oversees special event management.
  • Constantly monitors the competitive landscape and market conditions to identify opportunities, issues, and risks in order to recommend tactical strategies.
  • Develops customer product material targeted to Bulk and Retail residential audiences.
  • Determines appropriate design and product messaging and reviews final development and advertising tactics.
  • Responsible for building brand awareness and positioning.

 

Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or equivalent required; Master’s Degree preferred
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in leadership along with 7 years minimum in marketing. Telecommunications, Cable, or Fiber experience highly preferred.
  • Excellent written communication and technical writing skills
  • Strong financial modeling and analytical skills required
  • Expert proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
  • Strong project management skills, ability to manage multiple tasks and work within deadlines in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Able to approach tasks independently and work as part of a team
  • Professional demeanor required to represent our company to our customers and the community
  • Extensive experience with Customer Relationship Management Systems, Salesforce experience preferred
  • Excellent relationship management skills, with a strong work ethic and integrity
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines and be willing to work overtime as time sensitive projects dictate
  • Maintain a pleasant, professional attitude towards customers and co-workers
  • Self-starter with the ability to multitask
  • Must have reliable transportation, current automobile insurance and a clean MVR
  • This position can be located in Central or Southwest Florida, however, travel to other regions in Florida is required based on client meetings or potential client presentations
