Work Experience:

We are seeking a senior-level full-stack Microsoft developer with more than seven (7) years of experience in designing, developing, and maintaining complex systems.
• The candidate must have developed web applications using: Angular v10 or higher, .NET Core v3.1 or higher, C#
• The candidate must have familiarity with building Secure Rest APIS (i.e., Web APIs)
• The candidate must have knowledge of SQL Server 2016 or higher
• The candidate must have experience with Message Broker technologies such as RabbitMQ
• The candidate must have experience with Identity Server 4 or higher
• The candidate must have experience with testing tools such as PostMan, Test Manager, Selenium, etc.
• The candidate must have worked on a team using an Agile approach for project management such as Scrum or Kanban
• The candidate must be familiar with Azure DevOps (i.e., TFS)
• Experience using workflow engine libraries is desirable
• The candidate must be a U.S. citizen
• The candidate must have a minimum of bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
• The candidate must be willing to report on-site in Washington DC when the Board initiates Stage 2 and/or 3 of the return to office plan (TBD)

Technical Skills:

About the Project
The candidate will work with a team that consists of a project lead, a technical lead, a business analyst(s), quality assurance analyst(s), and software developer(s). The project lead will assign the candidate tasks to design, develop and test a custom-built software product. The tasks may require the candidate to:
• Explore software (including off-the-shelf, open-source libraries, etc.) that will meet business needs
• Architect solutions that meet business needs
• Develop/test code to meet business needs
• Peer review other’s code to ensure quality
• Build test scripts using NUnit, Selenium, etc. to ensure quality
• Improve the DevOps pipeline
• Upgrade source code to utilize newer technology
• Eliminate security vulnerabilities identified through security scans (e.g. cross-site scripting)
• Maintain legacy code that is not being replaced or modernized
• Transition legacy code into a more modern technology stack (i.e., .NET Core v3.1)
• Fix code to resolve production bugs
