Black Bear Design, a division of EarthLink, LLC is seeking to add a Web Developer to our staff. Black Bear Design is a full-service Digital Marking Agency specializing in internet marketing, graphic design and web design and development.

The  Web Developer is responsible for creating dynamic websites for Black Bear’s clients that exceed their expectations. This role requires a high degree of creativity, attention to detail and project management skills to meet the customer’s requirements and meet key deadlines. Key responsibilities include new client project preparation and information collection, streamlining production and meeting deadlines and fostering a high level of communication to ensure a high level of Client satisfaction and exemplary service.

The capability to thrive under pressure, prioritize and manage multiple tasks and build effective relationships are key to the Junior Web Developer position.

Job Duties:

• Build WordPress websites for our clients including homepages, landing pages, internal pages.
• Update current websites we maintain, updating content.
• Work with WordPress adding and laying out content.
• Delivery top-notch work on deadline to expectations of your creative brief.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Digital Marketing or related field preferred but not required. Minimum 3-4 years’ experience working as a Web Developer in WordPress required. 

• Experience wireframing, UX design, and laying out pages in WordPress is a must.
• Ability to lay out a page in WP Bakery or other page building software preferred.
• Familiarity with WYSIWYG editors.
• Graphic design experience.
• Must be reliable, dependable and able to meet deadlines.
• Must know Adobe Dreamweaver (or other code editing software) & Photoshop.
• Exceptional, clean web design skills, with examples to showcase them.
• Strong knowledge of CSS and web standards.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Comfort working with others, such as designers, programmers, developers or other technicians, to complete the final product.
• Must have strong WHM and cPanel experience and be able to launch websites on Linux servers.
• Agency experience preferred.
