JOB SUMMARY
· Successfully develop opportunity pipelines and quarterly business plans to meet or exceed sales goals.
• Strong working knowledge of Clinical Research, Decentralized and Hybrid Trials
• Understand customer goals, priorities, and challenges to provide solutions best positioned to address clinical customer needs.
• Prospect new customers to generate leads for sales teams.
• Make daily outbound email and telephone calls to all organizational levels and functional areas in accounts where purchasing decisions are made. Meet all sales calls objectives.
• Accurately speak to workflow advantages to create ROI with the customers and sales colleagues.
• Coordinate and hand off with Solutions Sales team to progress opportunities through the sales cycle to successful close.
· Document customer facing activities within CRM system. Support pipeline management and sales tracking with use of CRM system and other designated IT tools.
QUALIFICATION AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
· • Bachelor’s Degree required
· • Actively engage in continuous learning and ability to work in a constantly changing environment
· • Proven track record in sales (preferably experience with inside sales and cold calling) is an asset, as is experience selling clinical trial services
· To be considered for this role you should show a good understanding of drug development, at either a professional or academic level. Additionally you should have experience working in a commercial or sales support function within the Life Sciences industry.
· • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well with cross functional teams and people with diverse skill sets, personalities and responsibilities
WORKING CONDITIONS
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and photocopiers.
Some flexibility in hours is allowed, but the employee must be available during the “core” work hours of 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and must work 37.5 hours each week to maintain full-time status. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
Moderate (10-25%) travel is required for this position.
