This growing, dynamic high-tech company headquartered in sunny Central Florida, is seeking an Executive Administrative Assistant to the Executive team of Summit Broadband.  This position will be based in Tampa, FL where our CEO is located.  The new Summit Broadband is poised for an incredible future fueled by team members dedicated to being the best.

 

Job Title:  Executive Administrative Assistant

Status:  Full-Time

Reports to: Chief Executive Officer  

 

Position Summary:

This is a unique opportunity for a well-rounded and passionate Executive Admin to join our growing Summit Broadband team. In this role, you will have the ability to work independently on projects, from conception to completion, and must be able to work under pressure at times to handle a wide variety of activities and confidential matters with discretion. This is a unique opportunity to join our team to provide executive-level support to business leadership.

Job Description:

  • Given the executive and client exposure of this role, you will deliver superior professionalism at all times while exercising sound judgment in a variety of situations where there may be ambiguity
  • You will provide administrative support including but not limited to calendar management, processing expense reports and booking travel arrangements for several executives based locally and in other office locations
  • Successfully manage incoming calls and visitors with care, friendliness, and motivation to keep the organization running smoothly
  • You will provide advanced word processing support, creating complex spreadsheets and develop high-quality reports and/or presentations (both internal and external)
  • Assist in the planning and execution of in-person and virtual meetings, events, and conferences including site selection, registration, catering needs, agendas, minutes, and contract negotiation
  • Proactively research and follow up on incoming issues and concerns addressed to leadership, including those of a sensitive or confidential nature
  • Complete other duties and projects as assigned.  Examples include managing our Tampa office such as screen, sort, and handle filings and incoming mail.


Job Qualifications (must have):

  • Minimum of 4 years of Administrative support, General or Office Assistant experience
  • 2+ years of related Executive (C-Suite) support experience
  • Advanced knowledge and experience using Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)
  • Excellent ability to analyze and solve problems
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills
  • Customer service driven with an upbeat and outgoing personality
  • Must have pleasant phone voice
 

Job Qualifications (nice to have):

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college/university
  • Telecom experience
  • Demonstrated experience “wowing” people with exceptional customer service, organization, and follow-through
