IT/Cybersecurity Assessor

We are seeking talented IT/Cybersecurity Assessor to join our quality service team in our St. Louis, MO location. The primary responsibility is to provide full range IT audits across our customer base.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

·         Analyze and document the overall design and operational effectiveness of IT solutions for clients versus standard security frameworks (NIST, RMF, CSF, CMMC, CIS etc.)

·         Utilize standards and guidelines and apply consistently in the review of IT operations

·         Be subject matter expert in audit execution activities and on all company IT assessment projects

·         Report and communicate audit progress and findings to stakeholders

·         Assist in developing action plans to address audit issues and improvement opportunities

·         Manage the relationship with external auditing firms as needed

·         Maintain consistent expertise in evolving security frameworks

COMPETENCIES:

·         Proven working experience as an auditor in the information technology sector required.

·         Excellent client-facing skills and strong focus on customer service 

·         Excellent written and verbal communication skills

·         Critical thinking, problem solving, and conflict resolution skills

·         Be adaptable and fluid to customer needs

·         Collaborate across multiple environments

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

·         Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent years of experience and education

·         5+ years or more of experience in auditing, with emphasis in Cybersecurity
