Physician Network Advantage is currently accepting applications for a Business Systems Helpdesk Support Specialist I to join its dynamic and collaborative team. Under the direction of the Chief Technology Officer, this position will be responsible for providing first call software support to clients using Epic Registration, Scheduling, and/or Electronic Health Records software, including routing helpdesk tickets to the appropriate technician when necessary. The Business Systems Helpdesk Support Specialist I will work with clients and internal team members to understand software applications, operational workflows, and associated procedures and constraints to support software implementation.

 
Duties include, but are not limited to:
 
  • Access, review, and evaluate customers’ support request tickets utilizing IT services management system.
  • Route helpdesk tickets to the appropriate team member, as appropriate.
  • Identify and solve Epic build problems by researching and testing master file items and programming points.
  • Identify problems as related to user connectivity and printing and escalate to the appropriate technicians as necessary. ​​​​​
  • Work with Community Medical Centers (CMC) to create new users and inactivate separated users in a timely manner
  • Work with Epic reps, CMC, and PNA employees, and client super-users and IT reps as necessary to determine and implement solutions to Epic issues.
 
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
  • Undergraduate degree preferred.
  • Two years of experience in Healthcare applications and working with healthcare providers.
  • Two years of experience performing administrative duties in an office environment.
  • Customer service-oriented; excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multi-task with attention to detail and a sense of urgency.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel required.
