OnKure’s Drug Discovery team has immediate openings for Medicinal Chemists who will work in a highly interactive, fast-paced, team environment to develop clinical drug candidates.
What You Will Achieve:
You will lead one or more drug projects. You will collaborate with colleagues in other disciplines, both internally and externally. You will have an impressive record of success in discovering drugs and a hunger to accomplish more.
How you Will Achieve It:
You will make key contributions to the design and syntheses of small molecule-derived drugs. Using your synthetic chemistry knowledge, you will collaborate with team members to solve medicinal chemistry challenges and deliver on project team goals with a high level of productivity.
Preferred Experience and Qualifications:- Ph.D. in chemistry with a focus on synthetic organic chemistry
- Experience in small molecule drug discovery in a biotechnology or pharmaceutical setting with 8+ years’ experience
- Proven track record of success in advancing programs from leads to advanced candidates
- Extensive experience in lead compound optimization for potency, selectivity, ADME and PK

Annual compensation range for this role, based on experience is $130,000-$190,000.
