Downtown Streets Team (DST) is looking for a passionate and outgoing Case Manager to help us end homelessness in California!
DST works with unhoused individuals to rebuild their lives, restore their dignity, and end homelessness. What we do….
Downtown Streets Team builds Teams that restore dignity, inspire hope, and provide a pathway to recover from homelessness. We remove the barriers that stand in an individual’s way to exit homelessness and welcome them into a community built on the celebration of success.

What you’ll do…
We’re looking for a full-time Program Director to provide regional direction and support to our East Bay Communities, including but not limited to; Berkeley, Oakland and Hayward
Responsibilities of the Program Director include, but are not limited to; Full-cycle employment related operations for all staff within the region, including recruitment, performance management and professional development. The Director will be required to demonstrate advanced communication and interpersonal skills that create greater awareness and support of DST’s Vision, Values and Culture both internally and externally.
The Director must be prepared to expertly represent DST to all existing and potential partners including local government agencies, other social service providers, community-based groups, private business, and other stakeholders and maintain state and county relationships that include all funding within the region.
Demonstrated leadership and project management experience will be necessary in order to be successful in this role. 
Conditions for Employment
  • High school diploma/GED and a minimum of 4 years of related experience, or a BS and 2 years of related experience, combined with a minimum of 2 years of direct supervisory experience is required
  • A bachelor’s degree in social work (BSW) or psychology is preferred
  • Valid CA Driver License, reliable vehicle with current insurance, and the ability to travel regularly throughout the local area
  • Vaccination policy
  • Physical requirements: Sitting, standing, or walking for long periods of time and pushing, pulling and/or lifting up to 25 lbs
