EarthLink, a leading provider of Internet and Mobile Service, has an immediate need for a Systems Analyst to join our growing Team.

The Systems Analyst is responsible for project organization and execution and will participate in design, vendor evaluation, implementation, and management of multiple projects in the development and implementation of systems or in problem solving. In particular, this role will become the technical SME for customer facing applications (mail, portal, account services and mobile apps).

  • Performs analysis and makes recommendations in areas that require a high level of technical competency.
  • Performs a variety of complex process analysis and envisioning tasks, such as designing, documenting, and outlining user experience, user interface and pseudo program logic.
  • Provides technical training, guidance, and resource support for end users and staff for applications.
  • Provides application support and enhancements to existing applications. Defines system requirements, priorities, and viable alternatives. Coordinates the efforts of staff to locate, assess, install, test, and maintain computer software systems. Coordinates conversions and upgrades to vendor systems.
  • Performs as a project lead and technical support SME for customer facing applications. Coordinates with other Analysts and resources regarding impacts to Agent facing applications.
  • Assists in developing user documentation and departmental policies and procedures that impact the use of application systems.
  • Continues to develop professional skills in information systems through electronic resources, via peer and peer collaboration, and individual initiative.
  • Performs complex Systems Analyst duties on a regular and continuous basis.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
  • Research, diagnose, and prepare samples for internal resources, for Agents or third parties to articulate project tasks or issues.
  • On-call support during and outside of business hours. This role will assist in managing release processes.
  • Direct engagement and follow-up with operations teams, including Global Command Center, Service Desk, and partner representatives.

 Education/ExperienceDegree in Information Technology or Design concentrations or 5-7 years of experience in a Systems Analyst role or an equivalent combination of education and experience. 

Computer Skills: Supports customer facing applications (mail, account services, portal, mobile apps), including production operations, automation, and deployment; support of customer account data integration into business intelligence platforms; support of third party data exchanges through secure gateways and FTP platforms, if applicable.
