This growing, dynamic high-tech company is seeking a Strategic Account Director, Enterprise to join our team and grow with us.
Job Title: Strategic Account Director, Enterprise
Reports to: Director, Sales - Enterprise
Status: Full-Time/Exempt
Location: Southwest Florida
Position Summary:
The Strategic Account Director, Enterprise will play a key role in hunting and closing new key customers while maintaining and expanding relationships within our strategically important large accounts. The primary sales focus is to offer all the services within the product portfolio including, Internet, video, phone, dark fiber and transport service. This position requires a strong emphasis on new customer prospecting, the Account Director must be able to articulate the value proposition for Summit Broadband’s unique position in the Southwest Florida marketplace.
Job Description:- Build and foster relationships with senior leaders at the most impactful brands
- Expand strategic customer relationships to drive larger impact for the customer and deliver business outcomes
- Sell the full suite of services to new and existing enterprise customers
- Develop sales strategies for each sales opportunity and sales initiative, present solutions, follow up, close and maintain
- Prospect, network and cold call on a weekly basis
- Generate new lead sources through prospecting and networking
- Create and maintain a 30, 60, and 90-day sales funnel with qualified opportunities within the CRM
- Generate and sell high margin solutions by targeting on-net and near-net prospects
- Qualify sales opportunities and align internal resources for proper sales support
- Coordinate with commercial installation team to ensure new opportunities and sold solutions stay on schedule with service delivery

- Maintain CRM system to document prospect interaction and generate activity reports
- Develop key sales skills by attending sales meetings and participating in sales training
- Meet or exceed monthly recurring revenue sales quota
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Excellent written and oral communication skills required
- Minimum ten years previous sales experience in telecommunications or Cable TV required
- Experience building strategic business partnerships through selling and consulting with large enterprise customers
- Proven track record of creating, driving and delivering upon strategic account plans
- Senior salesperson with extensive experience of winning large deals
- Strong relationship building, negotiation, and closing skills
- Ability to achieve goals and determine priorities
- Excellent presentation skills
- Prior demonstrated success with over-achieving on sales objectives
- Must be willing to spend long days in the field prospecting and visiting new clients
- Working knowledge of computers and experience with word processing, presentation, and spreadsheet software
- Must be able to pass criminal, MVR, and drug testing
- Must keep current auto insurance with 250,000/500,000 coverage at all times throughout employment and provide such proof of such insurance to Human Resources annually
