ACP Composites is headquartered in Livermore, CA and was founded in 1985.  ACP Composites provides carbon fiber components, customer parts and composite solutions for customers worldwide and performs all their own manufacturing and quality.

The Quality Manager will manage an effective AS9100 Quality Management System (QMS) while carrying out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the Organization's policies, procedures, standards and applicable laws and regulations.

Experience with AS9100 a must! Experience in the aerospace and/or composites (carbon fiber) industries is preferred.

Responsibilities:

  • Direct and oversee all aspects related to the Quality department, including but not limited to Quality Engineering, Quality Inspection, Internal Auditing, Document Control, Management Review, Material Review Board, Corrective Action Board, and serving as the Management Representative
  • Responsible for the management of a comprehensive and effective QMS and continual improvement of the current AS9100 policies and procedures.
  • Responsible for interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; administering performance appraisals.
  • Development of the AS9100 annual internal audit plan for the QMS, tracking and monitoring execution of audits, as well as associated corrective actions.
  • Routinely review key performance indicators (KPI) and participate in the review of corrective actions.
  • Develop and implement effective standards and quality objectives across the Organization that will assist in delivering quality products to customers on time.
  • Oversee and execute the control of non-conforming material procedure if he/she or other team members identifies a non-conforming product.
  • Review and authorize customer returns (RMAs) to customers after investigating customer claims, where necessary.
