JOB SUMMARY
The Senior Sales Operations Analyst is responsible for improving sales operation processes and efficiency of the sales department. In this newly created position, the Sales Operations Analyst will oversee and implement best practices in Salesforce CRM, sales forecasting, pipeline management, and build automation to enable real-time reporting in data visualization tools. The role is also responsible for data analysis, and leading presentations reviewing performance trends and outcomes to key stakeholders across the organization.  

RESPONSIBILITES
  • Report and provide insight to support the decision-making and strategic planning of the sales and marketing teams. 
  • Analyze data and present important visualizations and dashboards that clearly communicates data outcomes in a simple form to non-technical audience.
  • Work cross functionally with Technology Team to build and optimize Salesforce CRM and other sales tools to help measure, report and recommend improvements on sales effectiveness and enablement. 
  • Create and standardize real-time sales and marketing reports in data visualization systems such as Tableau.  
  • Build advanced insights for sales forecasting and pipeline conversion metrics.
  • Responsible for completing sales pipeline forecasting, revenue performance, KPIs and custom reporting per company guidelines. 
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on market segmentation, territory sizing, account allocation and lead scoring models.  
  • Work cross functionally with sales organization to design and implement scalable sales strategies.
  • Develop process, systems, and productivity metrics to ensure our sales teams are hitting their performance targets. Incorporate early detection and identification into the process to ensure timely actions are taken.  


QUALIFICATION AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science or Statistics. 
  • A minimum of 5-8+ years experience in sales operations supporting sales and marketing teams.
  • Extensive experience with Salesforce CRM and Tableau. 
  • Advanced experience with complex modeling using raw data.
  • The sales operations analyst position also involves applying data analysis to solve real life business problems; its is important that applicants for the role have experience with statistical tools like R or SAS, SQL, as well as solid knowledge of programming languages such as Python.
  • Highly organized and systematic with a superb attention to detail. 
  • Team-minded with willingness to jump in when needed no matter the level of the task.

WORKING CONDITIONS

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and photocopiers.

Some flexibility in hours is allowed, but the employee must be available during the “core” work hours of 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and must work 37.5 hours each week to maintain full-time status. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

Moderate (10-25%) travel is required for this position.
