Role
Our teams are working on the design of the next-generation precision-medicine data platform and products to help researchers win the fight against cancer. Our Program Manager will focus on driving cross-functional initiatives balancing timeline against resources with a strong focus on deliverables and outcomes.  They will oversee and coordinate various projects to reconcile dependencies, provide guidance on strategic delivery and report on progress of initiatives.  They will be responsible for delivering projects large and small in an iterative and collaborative manner. 

Responsibilities (this is not an all-inclusive list, duties may evolve over time as business needs change)
  • Determine and execute a disciplined program management approach in the planning of projects, including deliverables, milestones and decision points.
  • Work closely with project sponsor, cross-functional teams and leaders to plan and develop scope, deliverables and timing for new initiatives.
  • Maintain organizational standards of satisfaction, quality and performance.
  • Plan, monitor and report on the program execution.
  • Determine cadence, content and structure for weekly meetings among stakeholders, creating detailed agendas and capturing/ tracking actions arising across teams at these meetings
  • Cross-project coordination and managing project interdependencies.
  • Identifying and addressing problems and risks to ensure timely delivery.
  • Building and/or reviewing program documentation.
  • Stakeholder communication, user story negotiations and problem solving.


Education / Experience
  • Proven track record of managing complex, interdependent programs/projects in a dynamic working environment.
  • 5+ years in an advanced management role (preference given to those with program management experience & certification)
  • Exceptional leadership, time management, facilitation, and organizational skills
  • Outstanding working knowledge of change management principles and performance evaluation processes
  • Experience in a regulated industry is a plus.
  • Great verbal and written communication skills.

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities
  • Experience with delivery to the cloud using CI/CD approach.
  • Passion for science, data and continuous learning.
  • Self-motivated and directed, consistently demonstrating initiative and drive for results.
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Experience with project/portfolio management tools such as Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Azure DevOps, Sharepoint, etc..
  • Strong analytical orientation and capable of interpreting/presenting data
  • Experience working in a B2B environment where customers may be internal teams or contract driven.
  • Ability to communicate with business and technical users at all levels, internally and externally
  • Comfortable working independently as well as part of a matrixed team
  • Persistent and resilient with a tenacious appetite for success
  • Flexible, start-up mindset and high functioning in a fast-paced, constantly changing, deadline driven environment
  • Ability to work under pressure with time sensitive deliverables, exemplifying professional and courteous behavior at all times
  • Ability to navigate and communicate across the organization with different functional groups and varying personalities
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to understand and adapt to changing customer needs in highly competitive conditions
  • Interest in Oncology a plus
