Position Summary:
With minimal supervision, conducts functional testing on RF units and troubleshoots/repairs any test failures to component level. When necessary performs defect analysis and repairs on customer returned units.
Essential Functions/Major Responsibilities:
- Test, align and troubleshoot complex audio, video and RF circuitry from component to system level
- Work from drawings, diagrams, customer specifications, schematics and/or test procedures
- Diagnose and analyze problems utilizing a variety of test equipment
- Document test findings
- Utilize methodical and logical reasoning processes to resolve complex technical issues
- Typically require exercising independent judgment and acquired knowledge of BMS products.
- Provides input for process improvements and development of top level test procedures.
- Develop subassembly test procedures as needed
- Performs tasks in accordance with established quality and safety standards.
- Trains and assists lower level technicians.
- Other duties as required.
