JOB SUMMARY
The Project Manager will oversee and implement patient recruitment and retention campaigns as well as serve as the client’s main point of contact for their projects. The Project Manager will use a high degree of customer service and industry foresight to work successfully with the internal and external teams providing an optimal experience for clients. This individual will be led by a Senior Project Manager or a member of the Patient Services management team. This individual will be the main point of contact on 5-10 projects.

RESPONSIBILITES
 Job Functions/Responsibilities: Sponsor Clients
  • Leads internal team members to ensure recruitment and retention project milestones are met as contracted.
  • Oversees and delegates projects to necessary team members
  • Oversees Central Patient Services assigned projects
  • Coordinate an internal “kick-off” conference call to review project delegations and expectations for any new sponsor projects
  • Creates, reviews, and trains all internal team members on each Project Plan, as well as any SOPs and Guidance Documents that pertain to each team member’s role and responsibilities.
  • Responsible for all project setup tasks for all applicable technology platforms.
  • Responsible for leading client facing meeting which may include, but not limited to, discussing contract deliverables, budget allocation, explaining performance metrics, projection modeling, and site performance.
  • Ensure that all team members acknowledge and understand their assigned duties and tasks. As tactics are revised and change orders are implemented, PM will work with each team member to alter Project Plans to ensure it aligns with strategy.
  • Responsible for organizing and leading weekly meetings with the internal team to review project deliverables and expectations as well as plan and re-strategize as needed.
  • Researches and fully understands each assigned project’s protocol, therapeutic area, disease indication, and target demographic.
  • Corresponds with and manages vendors for projects, as applicable based on deliverables.
  • Monitors and coordinates the efforts of the internal and external project teams and acts as the primary point of contact for clients.
  • Monitors and verifies team member time entry.
  • Compiles weekly or monthly reports (based on client’s needs) for all projects.
  • Reviews and approves invoices based on validated time entry by team and strategy for scope implementation.
  • Ensures revenue is realized and projects function within budgetary parameters for each project/program assigned.

Job Functions/Responsibilities: Internal
  • Monitors efficiency to maintain a high utilization rate month over month.
  • Updates internal reporting and project management tracking mechanism per departmental requirements.
  • Assists with Business Development proposals and meetings for strategizing for new opportunities.
  • Assists with interviewing, as needed.
  • Assists with internal projects as assigned by departmental management team.

QUALIFICATION AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, communications, advertising, public relations or related field
  • A minimum of 3-5 years professional experience in marketing, public relations, advertising, project management, or communications field- or comparable experience in a similar role.
  • Exceptional writing skills; excellent communication skills and proofreading abilities

  • Agency experience
  • Clinical Research industry experience. Healthcare experience is also helpful
  • Understanding or experience with patient recruitment campaigns in a clinical research setting is ideal.

WORKING CONDITIONS

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and photocopiers.

Some flexibility in hours is allowed, but the employee must be available during the “core” work hours of 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and must work 37.5 hours each week to maintain full-time status. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

Moderate (10-25%) travel is required for this position.
