As Lead Print Production Specialist with our Hospital Partner, you will oversee the daily print shop operations and work closely with your supervisor, fellow team members, vendors and our client’s cross-functional teams.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:- Advanced knowledge of high volume copy, print and binding machines.
- Clear paper jams and inform technicians of specific problems.
- Distributes print orders at designated drop-off points as required.
- Ensures upkeep of devices with proactive daily inspection and by keeping supplies well stocked.
- Performs duties related to the shipping and receiving of materials.
- Perform all phases of equipment set-up, operation and routine maintenance.
- Provide customer service, including problem solving and recommendations to meet client needs
- Use paper cutter, paper drill, spiral booklet maker, padding press and folder in completion of various jobs contracted.
- Perform administrative duties, which include completing work orders, monthly invoicing and 'purging' and archiving old documents.
- Inventory management.
- Schedule orders and job deliveries.
- Oversight of Print Production Specialist with some supervisory responsibilities.
- Clean driving record and must have a personal vehicle and valid driver license
- Familiar with document preparation software and RIPs.
- High School Diploma or equivalency
- 2+ years’ experience in Print Production Operations, and customer service
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Adobe Acrobat
- Experience with Adobe InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator a plus
- Healthcare industry experience is a plus, but not required.
- Technical background with print, copy, scan, fax devices and understanding of network. infrastructure and software applications.
- Various immunizations and/or medical testing may be required as a condition of employment for any positions that work on-site regularly in a hospital or medical setting.
The work environment and physical demands described here are representative of those an employee may encounter while performing the essential functions of this job:- Desk job in office environment - sitting at extended periods of time, some bending, lifting (35 lbs.), stooping and stretching.
- Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate office equipment.
- Requires normal range of hearing and eye sight to record, prepare and communicate written or online documentation.
- Involves frequent contact with staff and frequent contact with clients.
- Work may be fast-paced and stressful at times.
