The Interiors team in the St. Louis Office is a seeking candidate for a Senior Interior Designer position with healthcare experience starting immediately.  The team specializes in collaborating with clients to develop innovative, evidence based healing environments to inspire and meeting our client’s needs. The ideal candidate will lead the creative design efforts on healthcare projects, developing overall design concepts from inception to completion, including research, development of project presentations for product and business development opportunities, oversee finish material selection/specification, and construction document completion.  Provide mentorship and creative direction to the design team.  Act as the primary design interface with clients and consultants.  Collaborate with team members and colleagues to promote an inter-disciplinary design approach.  Participate in business development and marketing efforts. Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Revit, Revit360, and Enscape a plus.   Most project work is very technical and detail oriented in nature. Must work around multiple deadlines with quick turnaround times. Open to potential travel depending on team or client’s needs.

Candidate Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design or Architecture.
  • NCIDQ certified minimum requirement
  • 15+ years professional experience in healthcare design.
  • Excellent design, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment.
  • Knowledge of construction, interior materials, details, methods and standard building codes.
  • Working knowledge in Revit and the Adobe Creative Suites is a plus; the firm has implemented Revit on new projects.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced work environment with a strong work ethic.
  • Passion for mentoring and leading project teams
