                                                                             SOLUTIONS ARCHITECT

Purpose
The Solutions Architect demonstrates operational excellence by supporting the sales team with client-focused solutions in an efficient and accurate manner. The Solutions Architect directly impacts overall client satisfaction with the sales process through the rapid creation and delivery of Statements of Work (SOWs) and Bills of Material (BOMs) that accurately interpret client needs and requests. Through this process the Solutions Architect plays an integral role in ensuring the delivery of IT strategies that meet client business needs.

Responsibilities
The responsibilities for this position include:
· The development and delivery of product and service quotes to the Corsica Technologies Sales team related to replacement of existing hardware (SANs, servers, high-end switches, firewalls, etc.), as well as cloud technologies (Azure, M365, etc.).
· Collaborate with Corsica Technologies Sales Engineering team members to understand client requirements and architect precise solutions.
· Consult with project team members to verify necessary information is being captured and delivered through the sales department for project implementation.
· Plan and modify product configurations and quotes to meet client needs with the ability to convey those requirements to the Sales or Sales Engineering team.
· Work closely with technical architects (Systems, Networking, Cloud) to ensure SOWs align with Corsica standards.
· Keep informed on industry news and trends, products, services, competitors, relevant information about legacy, existing, and emerging technologies, and the latest product-line developments.
· Evaluate products and solutions for prospects and client needs.
· Supply information to Internal IT as needed to develop proof of concepts that expand Corsica’s existing service offering.
· Attend regular Sales and Sales Engineering meetings, ensuring that CRM opportunities are compliant with company policy.
· Assist with sales projects and provide cross functional assistance to other departments when needed.
· Develop in-depth knowledge of the service catalog and how it relates to client needs.
· Enter time and expenses into the PSA as activities, service tickets, or project tickets in a timely fashion.
· Understand processes in the PSA by completing assigned training materials and blueprints.

Education, Experience, and Certifications

Required
· 4+ Years in an engineering type role
· The following certifications may be substituted for technical experience:
· A+ Certification
· Network+ Certification
· AZ-700 – Azure Network Engineer Associate
· AZ-900 – Azure Fundamentals
· MS-900 – Microsoft 365 Fundamentals
· MCSA – Microsoft Certified System Administrator
· CCNA – Cisco Certified Network Associate
· CCNP – Cisco Certified Network Professional

Preferred
· 1+ year in Solutions Architect or similar role
· Experience with ConnectWise CRM.
· Experience with QuoteWerks quoting software.

Supervisory Responsibility
This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.

Work Environment
The position typically operates in a remote work environment. This role will also be expected to make use of specialized software for troubleshooting and maintaining systems and infrastructure.

Travel
This position does not require any regular travel; however, on rare occasions, overnight travel may be required to other Corsica locations.

Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, sit, reach with hands and arms, climb stairs, balance, stoop or kneel, talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds without assistance. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Position Type/Expected Hours
The position is full-time. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with additional hours as needed to complete objectives.
