JOB SUMMARY
The Therapeutic Strategy Lead ll is responsible for three critical workflows to include  prospecting, opportunity management and opportunity conversion. This role oversees a strategic territory of pharmaceutical & contract research organization contacts in order to build patient recruitment and retention campaigns to drive revenue streams to Elligo.

This role is a key component of ensuring all of our Sponsor Services are clearly communicated to new and current pharmaceutical client companies, and any of these key partnerships are guided towards patient recruitment and retention services models.  This is an opportunity to utilize leadership, business development, creative strategy tactics, client relationship building and customer facing experience to impact our growing business both internally and externally. This is a highly visible, customer-facing position that will report to the Director of Patient Strategy.


RESPONSIBILITES
  • This role will have leads distributed from internal sources with the goal to convert SQLs to executed contracts for the relevant product lines
  • Conduct capabilities presentations to prospective clients, providing education on service and solution lines
  • Develop strategy recommendations through a proposal and costing build
  • Responsible for leading all client facing meetings which may include, but not limited to, discussing recruitment/retention strategy recommendations, contract deliverables, budget negotiations, explaining performance metrics, and understand each protocol and patient population
  • Collaborate with internal teams on strategy recommendations based on prior experience
  • Demonstrates ability to interact professionally with potential customers via phone, email, telephone conferencing and face to face to discover their business needs and develop a positive business relationship
  • Ensures that a high level of customer service is being provided to all potential and current clients through high levels and accuracy of timely communications
  • Responsible for meeting with the Director of Patient Strategy on a regular basis to discuss pipeline and opportunity ownership,
  • Responsible for the education and transition of landed projects to the appropriate project manager / project team / coordinator to ensure a smooth transition to the new team managing the project
  • Responsible for leading kick-off client facing meetings which may include, but not limited to, reviewing services/scope, answering budgetary questions, speaking to our experience
  • Monitors and coordinates the efforts of the internal and external project teams and acts as the primary point of contact for clients during project start-up
  • Serve as team point of contact for the billing/finance department, and execute the preparation of all project budgets including change orders for scope related changes



QUALIFICATION AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
  • The formal required education and experience for this operation role varies based on level of experience. However, the following are preferred: Bachelor’s degree in business, Healthcare, Management, Industrial Technology, or related fields
  • Familiarity with the clinical research industry is a plus
  • A minimum of 3-5 years’ professional experience in relationship management and/or business development
  • Sales-centric: you are obsessed with sales and know how to pitch and sell any product to anyone
  • Experience in managing multi-channel sales activities and ability to thrive within a fast-paced and dynamic company
  • Ability to build relationships and to communicate at senior management level
  • Ability to influence and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, managers, clients and customers
  • Highly organized, with a sharp focus on deadlines
  • Team-minded with willingness to jump in when needed no matter the level of the task
  • Experience with Salesforce or other similar CRM strongly preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
  • Strong writing skills and excellent phone presence and oral communication ability


WORKING CONDITIONS

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and photocopiers.

Some flexibility in hours is allowed, but the employee must be available during the “core” work hours of 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and must work 37.5 hours each week to maintain full-time status. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

Moderate (10-25%) travel is required for this position.
