Rockstar Capital is seeking an entry level Video Producer in Digital Media, must reside in the Greater Houston, TX area (not a remote opportunity). Must be open to some nights, weekends and traveling:

Essential Job Functions:

· Conceptualize, film, edit, and produce video assets for Rockstar Capital, its programs, the marketing department, advertising, and social media.

· Familiarity with green screens, lighting, and video sets

· Assembling raw footage and transferring or uploading to a computer and cloud services

· Design marketing materials.

· Ensure that all statements, postings, pictures, etc., are in alignment with Rockstar Capitals mission, vision, and purpose.

· Contribute to paid social media strategy and execute posting schedule.

· Inputting sound to enhance footage, which may include selecting music and adding voice-over.

· Digitally splicing videos and synchronizing them into one rough cut file.

· Create monthly metrics reports for efforts.

· Conduct market research as needed to develop understanding of target market(s) to aid in department's digital marketing, social media, and advertising efforts.

· Attends and participates in any mandatory in-person or remote meetings, conferences, webinars, conference calls, or trainings scheduled.

· Other projects as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

· Extensive demonstrated knowledge of camera equipment, filming techniques, video production, and video editing software.

· Demonstrated knowledge of and experience with social media platforms, best practices, industry trends, and developments.

· Demonstrated experience producing video and graphics content for website and social media platforms.

· Must have good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, social media moderation software, and video editing and animation software.

· Demonstrated ability to operate photo, video, and lighting equipment.

· Must demonstrate creativity, engagement, and the ability to work within a team.

· Demonstrated ability to manage time successfully and to meet stringent deadlines.

· Demonstrated ability to network and communicate effectively with a wide variety of people.

· Must possess strong organizational skills.

· Strong written and verbal communication skills.

· Must be flexible and able to adapt to a work schedule that can change, including evening and weekend hours.

Required Education:

· Bachelor's degree in Film Production, Digital Media, Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or related field

Required Experience:

· 1-2 years of video production experience; One year of experience with graphic design or animation; One year of experience facilitating social media or digital marketing

· Must reside in the Greater Houston, TX area

Preferred Experience:

· Additional photography experience; marketing copywriting experience a plus
