Job Level Summary

 

A results-oriented, problem-solver who:

  • Fosters business and administrative relationships with Elligo practices and health system partners. 
  • Interacts with Corporate Leadership, Investigators, and Healthcare Administrators to assist in the development and execution of a research business strategy, mitigate research challenges by offering viable solutions and supporting the research revenue cycle.
  • Assists in the growth and development of research programs within assigned practices by engaging new investigators, identifying additional therapeutic areas, adding more equipment and/or facilities, and assisting in the development of a robust practice-based clinical trial program.
  • Serves as a key communicator between Elligo and the practice.
  • May supervise or mentor less experienced peers.

 

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

  • Work collaboratively with physicians and practice administrators, maintaining and improving relationships to achieve or exceed assigned objectives.
  • Strengthen Elligo’s position within the practice by expanding our relationship across key personnel and decision makers.
  • Develop practice-specific action plans to ensure key expectations are met and communicated.
  • Communicates with Elligo’s Business Development, Research Operations, and Finance teams to address client feedback and assists in the resolution of actionable items as required.
  • Establish and maintain strong long-term relationships with physicians and healthcare facility administrators in assigned practices. 
  • Identify future growth opportunities for new services. 
  • Prepare regular reports of progress and forecasts to internal and external stakeholders using key account metrics.
  • Serve as the link of communication between practices and internal teams.
  • Relay physician feedback and performance trend data to practice leadership.
  • Recommend and execute complex/tailored business solutions to resolve market and/or partner issues.
  • Identifies and engages community resources that will provide access to targeted patient populations within the service area.
  • Adheres to certain administrative duties, including timely completion of expense reports, detailed metric reporting and analysis, and business planning. Manages travel expenses within guidelines and budget.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, health care, or equivalent field required.
  • Healthcare industry experience with a proven record of building successful relationships required. Understanding of and experience working within the clinical research and development market preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; experience, comfort and successful interactions with physicians, nurses, other medical professionals, healthcare provider office administrators, and vendors providing services/technology to healthcare providers (e.g., EHR, RCM, PM, Labs, and Suppliers/Distributors).
  • Strong organizational skills and demonstrated problem-solving and negotiation abilities.
  • Background successfully operating in regulated health care or research environments.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint), CRM (e.g., Salesforce), and database applications.

 

Working Conditions:

This job operates in a remote office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and photocopiers.

 

Some flexibility in hours is allowed, but the employee must be available during the “core” work hours of 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and must work 37.5 hours each week to maintain full-time status. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

 

Up to 50% travel with overnight stays required.
