JOB SUMMARY
To conduct subject recruitment for Clinical Research Programs
RESPONSIBILITES
Required to make a minimum of 100 patient touches (includes incoming/outgoing calls and emails), yielding three scheduled patients per day. Must pre-screen perspective candidates by utilizing new leads, patient database, and physician patient charts and ensure a positive overall candidate experience.

100% compliance with Enrollment Center SOP and employee handbook

Show an understanding on protocol inclusion, exclusion, prohibited medications, schedule of assessments and pre-screen subjects based off protocol knowledge

Must be compliant with IRB, GCP, ICH, and HIPPA guidelines

Maintain a current GCP and HSP certification

Update and maintain various patient records and tracking logs required for recruitment across all studies

Update and maintain project management system(s)

Establish working relationships with Clinical Research Coordinators (CRC’s) and adjust based off ongoing feedback

Attend webinars, teleconferences, meetings, and study protocol trainings

Participate in health fairs to promote education regarding clinical studies and recruit subjects for clinical trials

Screen and evaluate subjects to narrow the pool to the most qualified, best-fit candidates and schedule based off provided scheduling parameters

During pre-screening call, independently research unknown medication/medical condition to ensure participants are properly enrolled based off protocol requirements Required to ensure timely delivery of timeline assignments and/or resolution to current issues

Maintain open communication with supervisor and CRC’s, and respond to emails within a timely fashion

Enter all available data into applicable database

Must comply with changes made to departmental processes, which are subject to change on a frequent basis
QUALIFICATION AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

0-2 years’ experience in clinical or patient research setting

Medical background and terminology preferred

Basic Microsoft Office skills

Comfortable utilizing search engines

Ability to multi-task

WORKING CONDITIONS
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and photocopiers.
Some flexibility in hours is allowed, but the employee must be available during the “core” work hours of 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and must work 37.5 hours each week to maintain full-time status. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
Moderate (10-25%) travel is required for this position.
