OFFICIAL TITLE: Provider Training Coordinator

Salary: $24.00 - $28.00/hour DOE + Comprehensible benefit package (please see below for full benefits offered details).

Work location:  Administrative Offices - Mid Wilshire, Los Angeles


ScheduleMonday-Friday, 37.5 hours per week.
                   Hybrid Schedule – 2 days onsite/3 days remote!
                   Occasional weekends or evenings.



Primary Duties:  Coordinate all aspects of child care provider training services, inclusive of creating and delivering training content. Provide coaching, mentoring services and technical assistance to child care providers as needed.

Other Duties:

Act as a resource for child care providers on child development, quality childcare, and professional development, as well as other related areas of need. Share feedback and information and help reflect on progress. 
Create training content on child development topics as well as child care business related topics.
Deliver trainings regularly to child care providers and staff.
Provide technical assistance to child care providers.
Provide coaching and mentoring services to child care providers as needed to put training theories into practice.
Oversee the scheduling and quality of program training and workshops and ensure they are staffed appropriately.
Assist in developing written materials to inform providers and the public of agency and program services.
Assist with outreach efforts to encourage more provider to attend trainings, including targeting certain groups who do not typically participate.
Participate in community and outreach events as needed to help maintain R&R visibility, as well as attend and participate in designated project and community meetings as needed.
Assist the Resource and Referral Management Team as needed. 

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university in Child Development or related field.
Minimum of 3 years experience in training and/or coaching adult learners, or 3 years of experience working in a child care setting.
Familiarity with child care provider population preferred.
Experience with resource and referral and subsidized childcare funding preferred.
Experience with Windows, MS Office. Network experience preferred.
Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Ability to work effectively with people from diverse economic and ethnic backgrounds.
Must have Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
Bilingual English/Spanish required.
Must present proof of having been fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

COMPENSATION PACKAGE INCLUDES:

Vacation & Sick Time

· 10 days of Vacation per year for the first 2 years of service. No waiting period.

· 10 Sick Days per year – no waiting period.

· 11 Holidays per year – no waiting period.

· 18 Paid Hours early release – no waiting period.
