Description
Data Tester Requirements:
 Experience working in Azure cloud environment.
 Hands-on experience with Databricks, Azure Data Lake, and Azure Data Factory for creating notebooks and automating testing flow.
 Must be able to write complex SQL Queries and should have experience creating and maintaining Python/Pyspark scripts.
 Proven experience testing data integration (ETL) solutions in a data warehousing and BI environment involving complex data transformations, change data capture, and error handling.
 6-10 Years of Software Quality Assurance Experience on Enterprise level applications with thorough knowledge of all types of testing life cycles (system, integration, performance, user acceptance) in large data warehouse and BI environments.
 Must be well versed with different data models, data integration testing best practices, standards, and processes with exposure to Teradata, Oracle, DB2, SQL Server relational database systems.
 Should have exposure to Large Data Sets and understand the Data Quality framework.
 Proficiency in analyzing business requirements (source to target mappings) and developing System test plans, test estimates, test strategies, test cases, and test data.
 Experience with Informatica Data Validation Option (DVO) tool to automate ETL testing besides expert-level knowledge of Informatica Power Center client tools.
 Experience with Azure DevOps is a plus.
 Experience in Linux and UNIX operating systems.
 Should be detail-oriented with an analytical mindset.

Qualifications:
 ISTQB certification.
 Professional affiliation with DAMA or TDWI
 Advanced degree in MIS, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
