ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Design and develop web pages, graphics, animations, and logos that are consistent with the overall visual communications strategy.
  • Produce data driven, intuitive, and high-quality User Experience (UX) design solutions using wireframes, visual and graphic designs, flow diagrams, story boards, and prototypes.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners to understand stakeholder feedback and the product vision to drive improvements to web page layout.
  • Coordinate with Agile software development and architecture teams to achieve user interfaces that align to company goals
  • Consult with external stakeholders to collect feedback and input on usability and requirements to improve the user experience.
  • Review website analytics reports to recommend the need for additional functionality and design improvements.
  • Ensure changes to company market transparency and related websites are consistent with corporate branding and offer comparable levels of user experience.
  • Identify opportunities for incorporating search engine optimization techniques.
  • Analyze taxonomy and recommend changes that would enhance user experience.
  • Maintain collaborative relationship with External Relations staff, Market Structure, Data, and other internal company stakeholders.
  • Assist with design and creation of website features and functionality.
  • Assist with refining company website branding standards.
  • Understand technical feasibility and end user performance of proposed designs and consider them when developing design proposals
  • Stay informed of industry best-practices for user interface (UI) design and consider them when developing design proposals
  • Perform other duties as required.



EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, communications, or related field.
  • Minimum of three to five years of technical experience in UI and/or web design.
  • Experience in user experience best practices and web design principles.
  • Strong interest or experience in human interaction and behavior, with experience using and analyzing website usage data through Google Analytics desired.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills including presentation skills to small and large groups.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in team settings, as well as independently.
  • Strong commitment to meeting expectations and goals, including timely and high-quality work, along with strong time management, prioritization, planning, and organizational skills required with an ability to work in a flexible, evolving environment.
  • Willingness to pursue ongoing skill development to extend the range and depth of knowledge and skills, within the scope of assigned duties.


Technical Skills/Qualifications
  • Proficiency in using design tools such as Adobe Creative Cloud apps, Adobe XD, Photoshop, Illustrator and more.
  • Proficiency in developing website frontend using ReactJS
  • Knowledge of design frameworks and libraries such as Google Design and MUI (Material Design) desirable.
  • Ability to produce mockups and prototypes quickly, with an exceptional attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with designing webpages using HTML, JavaScript, and CSS.
  • Ability to produce designs and solutions that are responsive to various user interface types (I.e., desktops, mobile, tablet).
  • Experience in video editing preferred.
  • Experience with Cloud computing services desired.
  • Experience developing responsive, 508 compliant websites with awareness to multiple browser compatibility requirements.
  • Experience using Source control systems is desired
  • Experience integrating with 3rd party analytics tools
  • Experience using unit testing frameworks for the UI (User Interface) is required
