Description
Responsibilities include:
  • Facilitate and collaborate with a dedicated Product Owner
  • Facilitate and collaborate with system teams – on and offshore
  • Collaborate at a program level i.e. scrum of scrums, big room planning, inspect and adapt, etc.
  • Guide teams of software engineers, test engineers, business analysts, and technical experts, on Agile practices and values.
  • Facilitate Agile events such as planning, retrospectives, product demonstrations, and other Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe ceremonies.
  • Support and guide teams to remove impediments.
  • Facilitate and support getting work done without assigning or dictating the work.
  • Facilitate discussion, decision-making, and conflict resolution within the team.
  • Assist with internal and external team communication and improve transparency.
  • Support and provide guidance on refining and maintaining the product backlog.
  • Enable the teams from being distracted by external influences.
  • Promote collaboration and unify the team around common goals.
Required Skills:
  • Experience with DevOps best practices
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) with CSPO preferred.
  • Knowledge of Kanban and SAFe experience preferred.
  • Explicit experience as an Agile Scrum Master of an Agile delivery team, preferably in a variety of situations including a large enterprise, a scaled environment, and a matrixed organization.
  • Effective facilitation, communication, coaching, negotiation, and mentoring skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to identify win-win solutions.
  • Exemplify servant leadership - leading by example and being a champion of the team and Agile principles.
  • Hands-on Agile Management tool experience (Jira, Confluence), Mural, and Tableau preferred.
  • Ability to analyze and adjust team norms using Agile metrics and industry benchmarks.
  • Ability to quickly identify anti-patterns and address them appropriately.
  • Ability to thrive in a highly ambiguous, fast paced environment where priorities shift rapidly.
Additional skills include -
  • experience in digital life insurance space
  • experience in the CI/CD or release management space
