Job Title: Installation Technician I
This is an exciting opportunity to travel to our customer’s facilities and put your electrical and mechanical skills towards improving worker safety. If you have proven manufacturing experience, with a strong focus on safety, then we invite you to submit your resume.
Rockford Systems is looking for a Installation Technician I with strong electrical and mechanical aptitude with the ability to read and understand both electrical schematics and mechanical drawings. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of situations quickly and effectively. EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS NEEDED- Strong electrical and mechanical aptitude with the ability to read and understand both electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of situations quickly and effectively.
- Knowledge of applicable safety standards (OSHA, ANSI, CSA, EN, etc.)
- Professional, personable, self- motivated, assertive, persistent, and dependable.
- Must be able to work effectively both individually and as part of a team.
- Takes initiative with high energy, the ability to multi-task, and manage ever changing priorities.
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Ability to travel extensively to projects (90% travel)
- A minimum of 1-3 years’ work experience in a manufacturing or similar setting.
- Experience working with safeguarding products; preferred.
- High School Diploma or GED
- Certifications: EHS Certificates, OSHA training class; preferred.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and excellent driving record
